DJ Insane, The G-Man, Delvian Records, and Music Industry Newswire(TM) Say Let Your Sounds Resound!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — DJs, remixers and music-lovers everywhere can share in the celebration surrounding the release of the new G-Man album “Crazed and Dazed” (UPC 6-75604-10252-0) by remixing one of the tracks and/or including it in a club or on-air “set” and sending a recording for consideration to G-Man Music in Los Angeles.

Previously, DJ Insane hit the Top Ten in Europe with a remix of a song by The G-Man. In Russia, the artist known as Random Distribution hit number 1 with his remix of a song from The G-Man. You have heard music by Scott G in many broadcast commercials throughout the world.

There are three categories for the contest: Remix, On-Air Set, and Club Set. Tracks from the album “Crazed Dazed” are available on iTunes and Rhapsody, as well as directly from The G-Man.

Crazed and Dazed Remix ContestWinners in each category will be announced on the Music Industry Newswire (www.musicindustrynewswire.com). The overall winner, as judged by DJ Insane, The G-Man, and Delvian Records, will receive a complete publicity campaign on Music Industry Newswire(TM) and Send2Press(R) Newswire (www.Send2Press.com), as well as on the artists’ Web sites with a total value of $10,000.00.

“Crazed Dazed” is the album created by two artists working 5,569 miles apart. Marcel V. Oosterom (DJ Insane) composed rhythmic tracks in Holland and sent them to Scott G (The G-Man) in Los Angeles, where Scott chopped, edited, squashed, and transmogrified the sounds, often adding choir and strings.

Scott G is a member of BMI, NARIP, and NARAS (Grammy organization), and is a frequent speaker and educator at industry events in the vibrant Southern California professional music business community. He also manages a music publishing company with partners Doug Colosio and Scott Joss, both of Merle Haggard’s band.

There are no entry fees of any kind. To enter the Crazed Dazed Remix Contest, send an e-mail to remixup@gmanmusic.com with “Remix Contest” in the subject line and provide a link to your pre-existing artist or album page on the Web along with a few words about yourself and background (privacy protected). Track clips and a music release form will be provided. The top five remixes will be considered for online radio broadcast and possible remix EP for retail. Deadline for entries is Halloween, October 31, 2007.
