<description>The laws that deal with accountability for copyrighted material are 19th and 20th century holdbacks to physical medium such as records, tapes, and CDs. The 21st century technology has changed this field dramatically not only in the format but also how that format is stored, sent, and received. There needs to be a rewriting of these laws to make them in tune with 21st century technology. Doing so (especially via the DataRevenue .org concept) will allow creators of copyrightable material to have a viable means of accounting in a huge financial sense.
