LAS VEGAS, Nev. /Music Industry Newswire/ — The Las Vegas GirlFestival 2009 Has just gotten bigger! The festival has just added 5 more days, and will now take place October 17th. – 26th. at various venues and locations in Las Vegas.
The festival has added 5 nights at the Beauty Bar, an outdoor show at Bruce Trent park, and a show at the newest rock haunt, Gallo’s Rockin’ Pizza. Talks are also in the works to stage the festival in downtown Las Vegas at Fremont East.
Over 125, all-girl indie bands, female fronted bands, solo and duo performers, as well as dancers, spoken word artists, fashion designers, comics, and film makers will take part in the festival.
The LVGF 2009 is being presented by the WorldFolk organization and Diesel Rocket Promotions. The LVGF is a showcase of some of the best established and up-and-coming female performers and artists in the U.S. The festival is open to all ages and genres.
